“Who would have known that I would have to rely on my Esthetician training and license to support myself and my three children. Being a ‘stay at home’ Mom is what I had always wanted to do. When I decided to become an Esthetician, it was because I loved the beauty industry and wanted to have a, fun, money making hobby, on the side. Life threw me a ‘curve’ when my husband, and sole financial provider, was unexpectedly killed in an industrial accident. I was on my own, with only my Esthetics license to fall back on – and thank goodness for that. So, now, when women of all ages, come into the school to start a career, or start a new career in skin care, I think of my own experience and am thrilled to see others making plans for their future and the unexpected. I sincerely enjoy each student, and want to help and assist them as they reach their career goals and become a success. I love sharing my experience and knowledge and seeing the same passion in others. We do not know what our futures will bring, and how blessed I am to have training and a career in skin care.”
Diane
“As a teen struggling with acne, I discovered my interest in skin care. I was frustrated and embarrassed so I began my research into products and treatments that could make my problem go away. During my senior of high school I started working with a well known product line as an independent consultant, which ultimately gave me the desire to work as an esthetician and to help others with their own skin problems. My passion for skin and for learning has lead to a career in esthetics education where I can share my knowledge with others and assist them in gaining a rewarding career. I never would have imagined the success and satisfaction that I have felt over the past eight years. I love my students and have a true interest in their lives. I want them to succeed.” Mandalyn
